Bestselling author, Mindy Hardwick, enjoys writing sweet contemporary small-town romance as well as children's books which celebrate art and community in the Pacific Northwest. Her newest book, Sweetheart Christmas, is the third book in her Cranberry Bay series which is based on the towns of Nehalem and Wheeler. Her middle grade book, Some Stories Are Not Seen, is inspired from her volunteer work with the Haystack Rock Awareness Program. Mindy has owned a cottage in Cannon Beach for eleven years. She works as an online instructor for Portland Community College in the GED/Adult Education program as well as for an online high school in the Portland Metro area. Both jobs give her a lot of flexibility to spend in Cannon Beach where she enjoys taking daily beach walks and tries to stay out of local politics except for using it as story ideas!
